Company introduction | Hwaseong Fortress’ castle wall features some of the best parts taken from mighty castles and fortresses outside the Korean peninsula. It also holds particular significance from a historical standpoint as the world's first “new city” built from sketch. Moreover, Hwaseong Fortress has a variety of defensive weapons and systems that weren’t widespread in fortresses that came before it. This is why Hwaseong is widely believed to be the most complete form of Joseon's fortress system, and plays the most important role in the evolution of Korean fortresses. |
