Moonlight Tour at Suwon Hwaseong 2016

Moonlight Tour at Suwon Hwaseong  2016

Hwaseong Fortress, one of the most beloved UNESCO World Heritage sites in South Korea, is set to present an even more sophisticated version of its ever popular moonlight program. From May 21 to July 17, participants in the Moonlight Tour of Suwon Hwaseong will be able to appreciate the moonlit heritage site while strolling along the paths and admiring the city lights. The walk beneath the silvery moon amid a mild spring breeze will reach a climax with traditional performances at the Temporary Palace of Hwaseong Fortress. The program is held about twenty times per year around the middle of the lunar month, between May and July and between August and October, and is limited to one hundred and ten people per tour. Tickets will be available at Interpark Ticket from 10:00 o’clock on May 22, 2016. After the summer heat subsides, the Moonlight Tour will be presented again from August to October around the full moon days.
