Today is the first of the three hottest summer days. Did you get to eat something good?
It was not terribly hot today
even though it was supposed to be one of the three hottest days.
I went out to eat some chueo-tang (loach stew) for my health.
On my way to the restaurant, I found a great café for a picnic in Ansan!

Address: 1941, Pureundeulpan-ro, Maesong-myeon, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do
Opening hours: 10am-10pm (Open year-round)
Spacious parking

The building looked amazing from outside.
Its interior design was also spacious,
as I had imagined.
Each seat by the window has an electrical outlet.
It seemed like a good place
to bring your cell phone charger or laptop and do simple work.

I think the café has space on the 2nd floor as well,
but I couldn’t go upstairs because the 2nd floor was under construction.
If construction is completed by my next visit, I’ll give an update then.

The display shelves were full of fascinating freshly baked bread!
There were no good bakeries nearby, so the best bakery in the neighborhood was a franchise bakery.
I was that happy to find this café.

This is the bread that I bought.
The mochi pastry at the back of the tray was delicious.
The round bread named Mont Blanc was so good and addictive that I ate the whole thing while I was there.

Drink prices ranged from KRW 5,000 to 6,000.
It seemed that the café paid particular attention to their coffee beans.

Although of course its coffee and bread were delicious,
the biggest reason that I recommend this place as a picnic spot in Ansan is
the arboretum behind the café.
When my aunt saw the arboretum,
she said she would like to visit again with her kids on the weekend.

It’s a free arboretum,
so you shouldn’t expect anything spectacular,
but the café is a nice place where you can also enjoy nature.
The café is not widely known yet, so it’s quiet and not crowded.
You can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere here.

This place was cooler than the indoor space of Café Dian.
The well-lighted space had plenty of tables and was a great place to take nice photos.
I plan to visit the café whenever I have time!

I enjoyed my latte and almond croissant here.
Not only was the bread beautiful, but it also tasted really good.
If you like bread, you should try the bread here.
All of the bread was a bit on the sweet side.
I recommend that you order an Americano or Latte without syrup!

I brought some bread home with me.
My family loved it!
I couldn’t stay at the café for too long because I had other plans in the afternoon.
I would like to enjoy the café a bit longer on my next visit.
I’ll go to the café as often as possible before it becomes popular and crowded!
