Essential Rides and Eats With 5-Star Ratings

・Zootopia: Safari World, Lost Valley

Essential Rides and Eats With 5-Star Ratings03 Essential Rides and Eats With 5-Star Ratings04

One of the advantages of Everland is that you can enjoy various attractions as well as the wild safari Zootopia. At Zootopia, you ride through the jungle on an amphibious ATV. At Safari World, you can see lions, three species of tigers (white tiger, Bengal tiger, Siberian tiger), and brown bears. At Lost Valley, you can meet herbivores, including camels, elephants, and antelopes, and all kinds of birds. When the guide is feeding leaves to a giraffe, you might catch it sticking its head through the window. Get your mobile phone or camera ready for a close-up shot.
Safari World and Lost Valley close at 5:30 p.m. The waiting time gets longer as the closing time approaches, so explore Zootopia first if you can. The recommended seats are: 1. The window seat on the right after boarding (row behind driver’s seat), and 2. The window seat on the left row after boarding. You can spot animals from all window seats, but the right row has more such opportunities than the left.

・European Adventure: T Express

Essential Rides and Eats With 5-Star Ratings05 Essential Rides and Eats With 5-Star Ratings06

T Express, the signature ride of Everland, is not only the tallest and steepest in Korea, but also the only wooden roller coaster. It drops suddenly after climbing and spins sharply, sending a thrill down your spine like no other. Most roller coasters only spin three to five times, but T Express spins more than 10 times. Those who have been on T Express say that other roller coasters cannot even begin to compare.
To feel a greater thrill, take a seat in the front or back row, which will give you a faster sense of speed. The waiting time is usually at least an hour. If you purchase a Q Pass, you can skip the queue. Another way is to try your luck in the Q pass draw, which happens every hour in the Everland app. If you’re successful, you can board at the designated time.

・Auntie Anne’s Spanish cream cheese sticks, only at Everland

Essential Rides and Eats With 5-Star Ratings07

Auntie Anne’s is a famous brand of Spanish pretzels in Korea. The soft, fragrant pretzels leave a lasting taste. Other than pretzels, the cream cheese sticks are highly recommended. They are pretzel sticks stuffed with cream cheese, and taste similar to the cheese crust of a pizza. You will be addicted to the sweetness and rich cheesy goodness. The pretzels sold at Everland are all in the form of sticks. Head to 55 Churros at No. 181 of European Adventure.

・American Adventure: Romantic view atop a Viking

Essential Rides and Eats With 5-Star Ratings08

Columbus Adventure in the American Adventure zone features a giant Ferris wheel and Viking ship, the tallest ride in Everland. At night, the lights of the Ferris wheel blend well with the colorfully lit theme park. The Viking drops from a height of 33 m, and the romantic nightscape will wash away your fear. The seats are filled row by row, with each row accommodating ten persons. The outermost seat (10th seat) offers the best, unobstructed view, so try to count your spot in the queue.

The best place to watch the parade is the sidewalk to the back of the merry-go-round, which the parade turns around. From here, you get to see not only the parade from the front, but also the side when it wraps around the merry-go-round. Reserve your spot at least 30 minutes before the parade!

Enjoy the Seasonal Halloween Carnival

Everland is hosting a Halloween festival called Blood City 3 from August 30 to November 17. During this period, you can take eerie photos with pumpkins and ghosts in the backdrop. The theme park is decorated to look like an abandoned city in the day, and comes alive with spirits at night. Visitors and ushers, dressed up in their most terrifying costumes, gather at the blood-spattered city of darkness. There will be zombies popping out of nowhere, so try not to be alarmed.
