A Remote Valley in a Forest with Flowing Water Baegun Valley in Pocheon

Clean water calmly flows through the famous Baegun Valley in Pocheon. With a length of about 10 km, this valley is filled with unique rock formations. Meanwhile, the water flowing along the valley is so crystal clear that you can see the bottom of the stream. Besides this stream, the valley has an abundance of water seen in small ponds and falls. When birds start to sing, the valley emanates the essence of the beautiful, enchanting forest.

If you drive along the road near Baegun Valley, you can easily find a place for chabak. In particular, at the valley’s entrance near Baegungyo Bridge and Heungnyongsa Temple, you can find the perfect place to park your car. The Baegun Valley parking lot can be a good option as well, with its clean and wide space. However, you don’t need to do chabak to experience the valley to the fullest. After parking your car, you can simply take a walk along the valley and enjoy swimming or foot bathing.

Blessed with breathtaking scenery, the road connecting Baegun Valley’s entrance to Gwangdeok Pass is one of the best driving roads. Once you reach Gwangdeok Pass, you will see a rest area, a café, and a small park. Another way to enjoy Baegun Valley is to get out of your car for a moment and take a walk along the mountain paths.
