Lake Performance Hall: An aqua performance stage surrounded by rocks
  • The stage is made with wooden decks against the backdrop of granite cliffs with the cut ends exposed.

The stand can accommodate up to 300 people. The stage on the lake together with the background of cut granites make for a very unique sight; the echoing effects ringing from the stone walls make special music particular to this place. Performances held here are mainly media facade performances (utilizing the cliffs), magic shows, and jazz concerts. For more information, visit the website.

  • Outside the hall toward the spiral stairway is an outdoor sculpture park attuned to the surrounding scenery. The park is also popular among visitors who want to pose with some 20 sculptures. At night, the lights create a cozy atmosphere that is not found during daytime.

At the back of the lake park is a cafe located next to a quiet promenade for those who feel like grabbing a bite before/after watching a show.

*Tip: To find out about how the once-devastated quarry turned into a space for culture and art, visit the “Stone Culture Exhibition Center.” It is located next to the ticket booth, providing information on granites, the main component of Pocheon Art Valley, and untold stories of corners of the valley.
