Jungmisan Mountain Astronomical Observatory provides astronomy, nature, and science education for small groups.
Jungmisan Mountain Astronomical Observatory, situated at the foot of Jungmisan Mountain in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, is the first of its kind in Korea to provide astronomical experiences for preschoolers and children. It provides educational programs, and visitors can become familiar with stars and space by making a planisphere and luminous celestial map and observing the constellations and celestial bodies.

The instructor teaches overall knowledge of celestial bodies and explains the constellations and observable objects that can be observed on that day.
Observation of constellations and celestial bodies
The astronomical instructor explains the observable constellations using a star indicator. Visitors then observe the objects (moon, planets, clusters, nebulae, double stars, etc.) using an astronomical telescope.
