In this educational space, you can see and experience a variety of eco education included in curriculum.

A variety of programs of Seunglim Botanical Garden assist in understanding nature and stimulate your five senses.
In this educational space, you can see and experience a variety of eco education included in curriculum. Even though the botanical garden is located in Gyeonggi-do, you can see 40 species of tangerine trees, which are a local specialty of Jeju Island. You can learn many things about a variety of animals and plants at the Eco Pond, Carnivorous Plant Hall, Herb Hall, and Insect Hall, as well as at the Tree Hospital that treats sick trees. You will realize the importance of tradition and nature through optional hands-on programs such as soybean paste making and planting. You can also learn the spirit of teamwork and the power of unity through recreational activities, understand yourself in nature, and develop your personality, creativity, and imagination through nature. Seunglim Botanical Garden encourages students to gain a proper sense of value regarding the environment through a variety of activities and educational programs that stimulate the five senses. The goal of Seunglim Botanical Garden is to foster green leaders who can respond to a new era and climate change by establishing a foundation for an eco society.

Observe trees that are treated with the waste wood recycling technique only used in Korea.

See 400 tangerine trees of 40 different species that are very rare in the mainland region.

Learn the names and applications of native wildflowers.

Learn the features of carnivorous plants and the ecology of wetland plants.
