Hantaek Botanical Garden Hantaek Botanical Garden specializes in preserving endangered species. The Garden covers over 661,000 m2 and consists of 36 themed parks, displaying over 2,400 indigenous plants and 7,300 exotic plants. That’s more than 9,700 species! The garden houses over 10 million plants in total, making it the largest botanical garden in all of Korea. It is also the only place in Korea where visitors can see the Australian baobab tree. Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom visited this Garden during her visit to Korea. The KBS series That Winter, The Wind Blows was shot here. Photos are allowed but tripods are not accepted inside the garden to protect the plants.
