Located in Cheongpyeong, it is a French cultural village with the concept of the celebrated French novel, Le Petit Prince. It was built by business owner Han Hong-seop, who operated a painting company in France and was fascinated by what the country represented. Completed with preparations spanning two decades, the village boasts over 30 buildings with red brief roofs, a walking trail evoking the Mediterranean coastal lines, Statue of Little Prince, and a garden resembling a hill on the Alps. Producing an exotic atmosphere, the village also houses a House Exhibition Hall looking like a 150-year-old French house, Orgel House, and a film site appearing in the popular Korean drama Beethoven Virus. The village exhibits traditional French costumes and makes them available for renting so that visitors can dress up in costumes and take fun pictures. The village hosts many events, letting visitors experience gorgeous orgels (music boxes), marionette plays, global percussion music instruments, and fun soap bubbles. Along the fantasyland surrounded by wildflowers, visitors can also encounter a three-story observatory overlooking Cheongpyeong Lake.
