Proposal at the hill of the wind that sings of peace,  Away from separation and dispute - Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park in Paju with coexistence and reconciliation

Imjingak, the symbol of our painful past and the current separation between South and North Koreas — here, Pyeonghwa Nuri Park was created hoping for peace and unification with the World Peace Festival in 2005. Pyeonghwa Nuri Park is a complex cultural space where cultural arts festivals including various performances, exhibitions, and films, are held. Its vast grass is a place that must be visited by couples who want wedding selfies that are full of vitality.

Wedding Selfie Point 1. The northernmost park in Gyeonggi-do with attractive grassland
Once you go in the park through the entry route from the parking lot, you'll see vast grassland that goes downward centering on the outdoor performance hall. One of the coolest poses for such a wide grassland like this is jump shot. You can jump together with the bride, but the groom may jump alone to express the joy of marriage with all of his body. You'd have to jump many times since you have to capture the moment, but you'll be able to get a satisfying photo as a result. Since Pyeonghwa Nuri Park  is one of the popular places and is visited by many people during festival seasons, you should check the festival schedules in advance and consider visiting on weekdays.

Wedding Selfie Point 2. Taking wedding selfies with artworks

Pyeonghwa Nuri Park is decorated with various artworks, all of which are good backgrounds for taking wedding selfies. After taking photos on sculptures like Sotdae(a pole) house and wish tree by reflecting on their meaning, try going to "Calling Unification", four sculptures with the shape of giant human beings. Be sure to take photos of having sweet chats while walking around as well. In front of people who are silently shouting for unification while looking north, act out a kiss scene in a plaintive veil with the heart of yearning for unification. Since the wind goes through the sculptures, the flying veil will produce a more mysterious air.

Wedding Selfie Point 3.
Love that blossoms on the hill of the wind that sings of peace

Although we can feel wind, we cannot see it. Around 3,000 pinwheels made from the hope of seeing the wind with the eyes were renamed “Hill of the Wind,” and they became known as the most attractive place in Pyeonghwa Nuri Park. When you look at the pinwheels, which we moved in our childhood with our breaths, in detail, they have different shapes, such as heart and shape of the Korean Peninsula. While they provide a spectacle on their own, you'll hear the sound of thousands of pinwheels turning on windy days, making for a more wonderful scene. Try leaving a true work with the colorful pinwheels that cannot be seen anywhere else.

It item – Helium balloon
Can there be any other props that go better than this when taking outdoor wedding selfies? Try preparing pink balloons by wishing for the pink future of the two. Merely holding the balloon will make the photo full of vitality. As the photo shoot reaches its end, let the balloons fly away to take a photo that can only be taken once. The balloons that can fly freely anywhere will look especially beautiful along with the significance of Pyeonghwa Nuri Park, which yearns for unification.

Must see – Café Annyeong
There is a building over “Eoulmot,” a small pond at one corner of the park, which captures people's attention ¾ it's “Café Annyeong.” Have a cup of coffee here to relieve the fatigue from walking around the wide park for the outdoor photo shoots. An option is to take photos inside the café, which has a wide-open space, as well as on the deck beside the pond.

Must try – Sunset photo
Once the sun starts setting, the park has a different mood. Though you can enjoy the red sky anywhere since it's an open space, try going to the highest place to take a photo against the light. The groom tenderly kissing on the bride's forehead at the park with the red sky will be a romantic climax.
