Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Festival 2016
The Anseong Baudeogi Festival was held at Anseongmatchum Land for 5 days and 4 nights from September 29 to October 3. At the festival venue within Anseongmatchum Land, blacksmith’s workshop, brassware workshop, tavern street, and fortuneteller house are installed to reproduce the scene of Anseong market in 1865. The reenactment of the King’s procession during the late Joseon Dynasty, which was held along the street, drew great response from visitors as well. Tightrope walking experience field and international folk playground were newly presented. The VR booths, which offered experiences of virtual tightrope walking and drumming jango (Korean traditional hourglass-shaped drum), and the 180-degree turning safety belt experience hall were immensely popular among children.
