The annual festival is held from July 27 to 31 and is composed of exhibitions, comics market, conferences, and World Children Cartoonist Contest based on the theme of “future of comics.” Also featured is an introduction to short-piece comics about the comics world of 2030 made by 22 Korean and French cartoonists. Exhibitions include Pieces Made by Yoon Tae-ho, winner of the 2015 Bucheon Comics Prize, exhibition of Chinese webtoons, and exhibition of good-quality creative Korean comics.
