Gwangju Royal Ceramic Festival
The 19th Gwangju Royal Ceramic Festival opens from April 29 to May 15 at Gonjiam Ceramics Park in the city of Gwangju, the home of royal ceramics of the Joseon Dynasty. The festival offers diverse experience programs and performances, and visitors are also invited to enjoy local agricultural specialties. A writing contest and a choir performance are held on Children’s Day (May 5), while a special festival for multi-cultural families is held on May 15 along with a talent show for foreign residents, a world food exhibition, and various cultural experience programs. Admission is free.
