The Jarasum Fireworks Festival, Korea’s only firework show, will be held in May on Jaraseom Island. It’s the perfect festival for everyone of all ages to enjoy. During the day, various programs such as themed zones for camping, drinks and barbeque, as well as tanning booths are available. At night, firework shows and performances will entertain guests throughout the breezy spring evening.

[Zones]

-Fireworks Zone: Main performances will take place at this zone.

-Vacance Zone: 5 themed zones

-Camping zone, drink and barbeque zone, healing zone, tanning zone, and the exciting zone

[Performance Times]

Korea Barbeque Festival

– Seodo / Outdoor & Barbeque Zone: 10:00-19:00

Jarasum Fireworks Festival

– Jungdo / Performance Festival Zone: 19:00-21:00

– Admission is from 15:00.

Transportation

[Subway]

Take a subway from Sangbong Station (Seoul Subway Line 7 or Jungang Line).

Transfer to Subway Gyeongchun Line and get off at Gapyeong Station.

Jaraseom Island is 15 minutes by foot from the station.

[Bus]

Take a bus from Sangbong Bus Terminal or Dong Seoul Bus Terminal.

Then take an intercity bus to Gapyeong Terminal.

Jaraseom Island is a 15-minute walk from the terminal.

[ITX-Cheongchun High Speed Train]

Take the high-speed train from Yongsan or Cheongnyangni Station.

Get off at Gapyeong Station.

Jaraseom Island is 15 minutes by foot from the station
